PLATT HALL - CORSETS

On wednesday I went to Manchester with college to visit Platt Hall. They kindly agreed to put some corsets and girdels on display for us to draw/take photos/handle.

This was also a great opportunity for me to gather primary research for my technical lesson as we are beginning a project on corsets. We will be using the method of taping and taking inspiration from Miss Havisham to create a decayed effect.
